Every Child Deserves a Fighting Chance

A Fighting Chance is United Boxing Club’s youth development program created to give kids a safe, structured, empowering environment to grow both in the gym and in life. Through boxing, mentorship, discipline, and community, our young fighters discover confidence, purpose, and the belief that they can overcome anything standing in front of them.

Because for many of our youth, boxing isn’t just a sport, it’s a lifeline.

What the Program Provides

A Fighting Chance is built on three pillars:
Discipline. Development. Direction.

Our program offers:

Weekly training classes for ages 6–17

Physical fitness, boxing fundamentals, and movement training

Character-building, accountability, and leadership development

Teamwork, respect, and emotional control

Access to mentors and positive role models

A safe, structured community environment

Eligibility for USA Boxing progression for qualified youth

We give our youth far more than instructions. We give them identity, structure, support, and a place they know they belong.

Why This Initiative Matters

Growing up today is not easy. Many young people in our community face challenges that pull them in the wrong direction. A Fighting Chance is designed to be the opposite force and be the one that builds them, lifts them, and turns potential into progress.

Through this program, youth learn to:

Build confidence they can carry beyond the gym

Improve attitude, focus, and discipline

Develop healthy habits and personal responsibility

Work through frustration in a positive way

Believe in their ability to become more

The results reach schools, homes, friendships, and their future choices.

The Financial Reality

United Boxing Club believes no child should be turned away due to financial hardship. But as a nonprofit organization, we currently absorb most of the costs of running this program.

A Fighting Chance helps support expenses such as:

Gloves, wraps, headgear, jump ropes, and gym equipment

Training, coaching, and supervision

Facility utilities and insurance

Tournament and registration fees

Scholarship memberships for families in need

Our goal is simple:

Covers gloves, wraps, and basic training supplies.

Supports weekly classes, equipment replacement, and safety gear.

🥇 Sponsor a Child – $100/month

Fully funds a youth’s training for the month membership, gear, and mentorship included.

🏆 Premier Youth Champion – $500+

Provides travel support, tournament fees, and advanced opportunities for dedicated youth.

Program Information for Parents

Ages: 6–17

Class Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6 PM

What to Bring: Clean shoes for the gym, boxing gloves, hand wraps, water

Membership Options:

$40/month – Youth Boxing Only

$60/month – Full Membership (classes + open gym)

$300/month – Full access + 2 private lessons per week

Gear Available: Gloves ($45–$100), wraps, and equipment sold on-site

Scholarships: Available through A Fighting Chance sponsorship funds
